Fundaments achieves VMware Disaster Recovery as a Service Powered Status

Fundaments announced today that its Disaster Recovery service has achieved the VMware Disaster Recovery as a Service ™ DRaaS (vCloud Availability) Status. With its DRaaS solution, Fundaments offers the possibility to use this service for fallback and migration scenarios.

With Fundaments' Disaster Recovery, organizations can be confident that in the event of a "disaster", such as when they are hit by a cyber-attack, infrastructure failure or service interruption caused by human error, downtime and data loss will be minimized. This not only saves time, but also money. Organizations that want to minimize the costs of infrastructure and software for a secondary or tertiary Disaster Recovery environment can use the Fundaments Cloud as a recovery infrastructure. Because this service is offered in a pay per use subscription, significant savings are made. As a result, companies no longer need to invest in physical infrastructure.By achieving the VMware Disaster Recovery as a Service Powered Status, Fundaments is among an impressive list of leading Cloud providers. “Organizations continue to look for ways to protect their operations from downtime and data loss. With more and more applications, systems and data that need to be protected, it is important that a recovery plan is drawn up”, says Gunar Nijenhuis, Cloud Aggregator Manager at VMware. "We are pleased that Fundaments has achieved the VMware DRaaS (vCloud Availability) status and we look forward to our further cooperation."“This status reflects the growth of Fundaments and also shows our focus on quality and innovation”, says Larik-Jan Verschuren, CTO at Fundaments. "In addition to our pay-per-use data center services, we can now offer even more services with additional security in terms of continuity." As a VMware Cloud Provider, Fundaments can offer a wide range of VMware-based services and ensured integration of the data center for its users.
