2022 was the year of...

Another year has already passed. Oh, how fast that goes! It was another wonderful year. Together with our partners, clients and, of course, our own team, we experienced many wonderful moments and we would like to thank everyone for that.

Youth Fund Sport & Culture Foundation

The cooperation with our partners (customers and suppliers) was very pleasant again this year. We firmly believe that only together can we get the best out of it. After all, we proclaim: GO BEYOND. BE THE BEST. And we do not only grant this to our partners, but also to the talents of tomorrow. That is why we will not be giving business gifts to our customers this year either, but will be donating the amount to Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur Enschede. This gives children who do not have the means to play sports or an instrument the chance to develop their talents. Hattrick

Looking at the highlights of this year, our hat-trick should certainly not be missed. We received three major awards in one month. Something we are very proud of. At Fundaments, we continue to innovate. It is therefore very nice that we have been recognised in this regard by our suppliers.

VMware Sovereign Cloud

It probably didn't escape your attention, with the full-page ads in the Financieel Dagblad, Dutch IT Channel and ChannelConnect... we were the first in the Netherlands to be awarded with the VMware Sovereign Cloud Status this year and we are extremely proud of this!

With our sovereign Fundaments Cloud, we offer our partners the most secure and reliable Cloud foundation. Looking at the Fundaments Cloud, we can operate it independently and have everything from A to Z in control: from people to process and technology. We do all this primarily to ensure the continuity of your organisation.

We help our partners in their journey towards the most optimal data continuity and security. We do this through the Sovereign Cloud Framework.

Netherlands MSP Partner from Cohesity

Another major award we received was from Cohesity, a provider of next-gen data management solutions. Cohesity has awarded Fundaments as Netherlands MSP Partner of the Year 202. The award of MSP Partner of the Year validates the recognition of the partnership we have with Cohesity. We have been partners with Cohesity for five years and have grown together. We find a listening ear at Cohesity in requests for further development and also an actual translation into platform features. Precisely this translation also enables us to further help Fundaments' customers.

VMware Partner Innovation Award

And as the final award in the hat-trick, we won the VMware Partner Innovation Award. This award shows that we provide our partners with a high-end VMware technology platform that every partner can benefit from in an OPEX form. So we are super proud of this award!

Container Platform as a Service

This year, we also introduced a new service: Container Platform as a Service.

As an ISV, delivering Software as a Service (SaaS) is central. For this purpose, it is important to develop features and launch new functionalities in a secure, fast and scalable way. To do so, you need a good foundation. To properly manage a complete container infrastructure with various application functions, a management platform is needed. Kubernetes constitutes one of the most important solutions in today's market. To be completely unburdened in hosting and maintaining this Kubernetes platform, Fundaments has developed a new service: Container Platform as a Service (CPaaS). This allows the platform user to focus on developing application code and Fundaments takes care of the rest: 24x7 management of the infrastructure and proper functioning of the Kubernetes components.

Saxion University of Applied Sciences

At Fundaments, we also like to look towards the future, and that includes future IT talent. Therefore, this year we again had a collaboration with Saxion University of Applied Sciences. In which we gave a module to HBO-ICT students to introduce them to the Cloud and the new technological developments within the Cloud. A super fun and interesting project with which we want to excite tomorrow's IT talent.

Fundaments talents

We like to call ourselves Expert in Clouds. But of course, we only attain this because of our great team of over 55 colleagues. This year, as many as 11 colleagues have joined us. In this way, we continue to grow in many areas.
