Max and Jurgen are both graduate interns at Fundaments. Whereas Max just started with us this month, Jurgen is already nearly finished. In this article, they both talk about their assignment and what it's like to carry it out at Fundaments.
Max on his graduation project: monitoring in the multi Cloud
Hello, my name is Max Pelle and I am 23 years old. I am currently studying HBO-ICT in the direction of ITSM (IT Service Management). I am just getting started with my graduation internship at Fundaments, which is expected to last until the beginning of November.
The assignment that I will carry out at Fundaments is about monitoring in the multi cloud. For this, I will be researching a potential customer who wants to have a setup in multiple Cloud environments. This will be a solution in Fundaments' Cloud as well as in AWS and Azure. My goal is to find a solution that is generic and therefore as widely deployable as possible.
I am incredibly looking forward to getting started!
Jurgen on graduating at Fundaments
Hi, my name is Jurgen Kamp and I am 23 years old. I am studying HBO-ICT at Hogeschool Windesheim in Zwolle and started my graduation internship at Fundaments in January 2021. This lasts until June, so I'm already well on my way!
Fundaments wants to set up a multi-tenant Kubernetes platform for its customers hosting a Software as a Service solution. My thesis assignment is: ‘conduct research on the differences between the Cloud platforms (Fundaments Cloud, AWS, Azure, etc.) when it comes to hosting a Kubernetes application’.
The aim of my graduation project is that I will soon be able to give Fundaments advice on the differences and possibilities when hosting a containerised application. It would therefore be super exciting if Fundaments could take my advice on board when implementing the final product.
Graduating at Fundaments is something I really like (despite mainly working from home) and am enjoying myself. All colleagues are easy to reach and make time to help if there are questions or simply for a nice talk.
