During VMware Explore 2023, Kenneth del Rio van Heese, Director Channel Sales Benelux from VMware, shares his experiences from day 1 with Larik-Jan Verschuren from Fundaments. Kenneth notes that Day 1 was mainly focused on partners, with more than 250 representatives present from the Benelux. Partners come to the event to get ideas, network and build relationships. They think along with customers about the applications of technologies, data optimisation and the need for security and scalability.

Kenneth emphasises the importance of innovation, but also cost control and data security. Customers are keen to innovate, think AI, but at the same time worry about data security. VMware Explore provides a platform to learn from others and get new insights. Sharing experiences and best practices is essential. By listening to others, organisations can learn how to handle data securely and effectively, even with innovative technologies such as AI.
