HOW IMPORTANT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE CLOUD IN PRACTICE?
Public Cloud
This is the Cloud type most people think of when talking about ‘working in the Cloud’. A public Cloud is a single service offered to many customers at the same time. So it is a shared infrastructure, hence the reference to public. Public Clouds are especially useful for general services. Think of the well-known Dropbox where you can back up large files in a simple way. Google Drive, Evernote and Microsoft Azure are also examples of public Clouds.
