The environments you set up and manage can run either in our data centre (our own sovereign Cloud), at the customer's location (on-premises) or a combination (hybrid). The main building blocks of our IaaS services consist of compute, storage and networking, topped by a virtualisation layer (often based on VMware).

The landscape of our customers is changing rapidly. With increasing need for sovereign Cloud infrastructure and a cost-efficient and reliable alternative to the Public Cloud, we are expanding in providing dedicated Private Clouds for our customers. Therefore, we are looking for engineers to help customers migrate and manage their Cloud infrastructure.

Can you take our customers on a journey to a future-proof Cloud infrastructure? Are you not afraid of phasing out a piece of legacy? Do you get excited about working with both physical hardware and virtualisation technology? Then we are looking for you!

Minimum level of HBO working and thinking level;

An IT-related education;

Relevant working experience with managing infrastructure, preferably with Dell/NetApp;

Relevant working experience with the management of virtualisation, preferably with VMware;

Experience with networking, preferable with software defined networking concepts;

VCP, CCNP and/or ONTAP certified is a nice to have;

Willingness to work standby shifts (8-10 times a year for 1 week on average);

You conform to the information security management system applicable within the organisation.‍

Market-level salary: finally, of course you would like to know what working in this position will earn you.

As a Cloud Engineer at Fundaments, you will receive a salary between €3,500 and €4,840 gross per month based on a 40-hour working week. We also have an appealing pension arrangement and you will receive 25 holiday leaves based on full-time employment ( a nice addition: you will also receive a day off on your birthday). Finally, you will get a telephone allowance of 25 euro per month as well as an internet allowance of 35 euro per month
