VMware Cloud Director Availability
VMware's Cloud Director Availability, like Zerto, offers the ability to realise a disaster recovery solution in a Multi Cloud environment. Here, asynchronous replications, migrations and fallback scenarios can be realised.
Easy
A simple migration option.
Realisation of disaster recovery
Synchronisation capabilities enable the realisation of a disaster recovery solution.
Support
Fully supported in VMware's vSphere technology stack.
Easily migrate data centres
Cloud Director Availability offers users, who use VMware virtualisation technology, the option to move workloads between different Cloud environments, making it possible to easily migrate data centres.
Self-service
Because the Cloud Director Availability product was developed by VMware, integration in both vSphere and Cloud Director is well implemented. This makes the tooling very easy to use.
Lift & shift
For large workload migrations from a local environment to a data centre, where the local environment works with VMware vSphere, Fundaments can use a local appliance to provide a fully managed environment for the user. Here, it is possible to choose which Fundaments data centre to migrate to and the user can choose the time of relocation. Of course, reversing a migration can be just as easy. By using this technology, Fundaments can offer a migration easily and at a low cost.
Security
When moving data, security in transport is a primary concern. To this end, Cloud Director Availability offers built-in security capabilities of the VMware software stack: both built-in compression of replication traffic and end-to-end TLS encryption are standard options when using this product.
