Cloud Gateway by Fundaments
In addition to connections to network platforms and internet exchanges, Fundaments offers two types of connections:
1. Connectivity with the Public Cloud
2. Connectivity on the platforms of our data centre providers.
In both cases, a routed connection is realised to the Public Cloud or to one of InterXion and Equinix's data centre locations. InterXion City Cloud and Equinix Fabric both provide the ability to establish a connection between one of the data centres. Because both data centre providers operate globally, this allows links to be realised over large (inter)continental connections.
The Fundaments Cloud Gateway realises a network connection especially for users who operate internationally in one of the InterXion or Equinix data centres and/or users of Public Cloud providers such as Azure, AWS and Google. Because this network connection is separate from the internet, the method of connection ensures a tremendously secure connection and also better performance when it comes to bandwidth guarantees and delays (latencies). This is because the connection does not depend on public routing of traffic, in contrast to the internet.
