Optimizing Your Cloud Connections
With Fundaments CCaaS, you have the ability to optimize your Cloud connections for maximum performance and reliability. Learn how our solutions can help your business grow and improve operational efficiency.
You can choose from a variety of Cloud Connectivity services to connect to the Fundaments IaaS services. The most used and well-known way is the Internet.
The internet
The Internet of Fundaments is fully managed by Fundaments. Here, you benefit from a redundant setup, with redundancy in both equipment and providers of internet traffic. In addition, the internet connections are completely separated from other users, so that sufficient bandwidth is always available.
DDoS protection included
The Fundaments Internet can be equipped with automatic protection against various attacks that fall under the name D (DOS). Because Fundaments is connected to the NaWas DDoS wash, attacks can be fully automated.
Alternate connections
In addition to connectivity via the Internet, Fundaments uses various partners to provide alternative connections to the Fundaments IaaS services. Together with NDIX (Dutch-German Internet Exchange), Fundaments provides a network platform that focuses on security, with fiber as the standard for high bandwidths. NL-IX (Netherlands Internet Exchange) is among the top five Internet Exchanges in the world and not only offers internet services, but can also establish a layer 2 ethernet connection. For government institutions, Fundaments offers a link with Gemnet, which guarantees a closed digital network with the highest level of security. ZorgNet, which is used by healthcare institutions for secure data exchange, can also be linked to Fundaments IaaS and/or colocation in Fundaments data centers.
International and Public Cloud Connections
The Fundaments Cloud Gateway creates a network connection for internationally operating users in one of the InterXion or Equinix data centers and/or with one of the Public Cloud providers (Google, Microsoft or Amazon). Because the Fundaments Cloud Gateway is separate from the internet, this way of connecting provides an extremely secure connection and also better performance when it comes to bandwidth guarantees and delays (latencies). This is because the Cloud Gateway does not depend on public traffic routing, as is the case with the Internet.
Private links
Private connections provide the most guarantees and are really customized. Fundaments has partnerships with fiber optic parties such as TReNT and Eurofiber to create and connect a customized connection.
High-end data center locations
Fundaments CCaaS is based on a completely Dutch platform, spread across seven data center locations in the East, Central and Western Netherlands. These are all Tier3+ locations: the highest achievable class for a Dutch data center at the moment. A Tier3+ data center has thought of everything in terms of security, including guaranteed power supply, burglary protection, water and fire detection and climate control.

100% control over your Cloud
Are you sure where your data is? That's what a sovereign Cloud can guarantee you. This guarantees that your data is on Dutch soil, that it is managed by a Dutch party, namely Fundaments, and that there is therefore full control over all your data.
